Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by my little blog. Its purpose isn't so much to show off my work, it is more of a way for me to catalog the things I've created. I hope you enjoy peeking at my projects while you are here!

Finished Off the Set of Cards

Alright - so I finished off the set of cards for my friend. I had the 5 I showed you before (only 4 designs because I made two of the "Thanks a bunch" cards).

I figured I'd make a simple blank one so she could use it for whatever. I had the pattern paper in my box and it is totally her style. I have no idea where the paper is from because some moms were doing a project with my students a few years back and this was just a leftover sheet of paper. The dragonfly on the outside as well as the little charm on the inside were cut from the Doodlecharms cart. Love how this turned out!

I thought I'd do a Get Well card for her set. I'm not sold on how the colors turned out in this one. I really need more paper. With all the cricut stuff I have purchaced in the last 72 hours, I think paper is going to have to wait. ;) Anyway...I do like the little Peachy Keen faces I used though! They are both from the Teacher Says! stamp set. The pattern paper was again, just from my stack. Not a clue where it came from!

Ok. This was the 8th and final card I made for the set, and I have to say...it is my favorite! My inspiration came from here. My SIL, Ruthie, from over at Septemberninth and Theresa, The Scrapbooking Queen have started a new Tacky Tuesday challenge! It sounds so fun...be sure to check it out. Anyway...I was looking at Theresa's card and I just loved the little bee. I had to find a way to use one. Both patterned papers in this card are from the SLAB IV from Michaels. Love, LOVE how this turned out.

Alright, well...I think that's my last project for a while. I have a mighty large stack of grading staring me in the face. ;)

Thanks for stopping in!

:) C
