Well, to get things started I figured I'd upload some shots of a few of my old projects. Let's see if I can figure this out. This first one is a shawl/lap blanket I knitted for my Grandma Hazel. She passed away almost two years ago, so this project is special to me. She taught me to knit when I was a little girl. I have a picture of her using it and I will treasure it always.
It is a simple pattern, knit 2 rows, pearl 2 rows. It turned out so soft and beautiful. I used Caron Simply Soft Yarn and knitted in some Fun Fur yarn from Lion Brand on both ends.
This next one is a baby blanket I quilted for a friend of mine. The theme was sports.
This next project is also a baby blanket I knitted for another set of friends. The pattern was a little complicated, but it used a seed stitch to make the border of the squares. I used Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn. I love this yarn and use it for a lot of my projects.
Those are all over two years ago! Here are some more recent ones.
This first one is a scarf I just finished for a friend of mine. She is going through chemo right now (thankfully with great results!) and I wanted to make her a prayer shawl (where you pray for the person as you knit it) but I didn't have time to make a project that large. So I made her a prayer scarf! I used Caron Simply Soft yarn. I crocheted this one using a alternating rows of double crochet and single crochet, with a slant stitch in the double crochet rows.
This next one was a fun one. It's a potholder I made for my Sister-In-Law, Ruthie. It is just a simple single crochet. It has a back that is plain white. It was supposed to turn out square, I'm not sure what happened. I used the Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn again. Love that yarn for all my kitchen projects!
Ok, that's enough for now! Some cards coming soon!

The prayer scarf that you made Lois is so pretty! How cute is my pot holder?
