Thanks for stopping by my little blog. Its purpose isn't so much to show off my work, it is more of a way for me to catalog the things I've created. I hope you enjoy peeking at my projects while you are here!

Flower Pot Card

I have a quick little card for today.  I don't love how it turned out, but I still think it is pretty cute.  I think maybe I should have put a background pattern paper on?  I'm not entirely sure.  It is 5.5 by 3 so I'll need to make an envelope for it before I can use it.

The flower is from the Garden Flowers SVG set from Lettering Delights.  The base is kraft cardstock, of course.  The yellow and lavender papers are from my stash and the rest is from DCWV.

I used some foam adhesive squares to give the flower and the top of the flower pot some depth.  I used a little piece of lilac twine from the twinery and some accents with my white gel pen.  Simple, but cute.

I haven't decided what I'm going to use this card for.  I have three different sentiment stamps that will all fit perfectly on the body of the flower pot, so once I decide what I want to use it for, I'll stamp it on.  I'll also finish the inside of the card with some light yellow cardstock.

That's all for now!

  1. I really like it! I sometimes leave cards with no sentiment until I need a card.... then I stamp it:-) I don't think I ever commented on how I love your profile picture. I already miss that time. Mine are 14, 9, and 11 months.

  2. I like the simplicity of your card very sweet

  3. Love it! I think it's sweet and I love how you used the twine!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! I really love comments, so thank you for taking the time to leave one. They make my day!
